Why Rest Up, Prepare, and Practice?

I just chatted with Gen Y blogger Allie Osmar on a podcast interview for The Creative Career about career advancement -for introverts. It all boils down to resting up, preparing, and practicing to ace everything from job interviews to negotiations to sales meetings. Since introverts do better when we think before we speak or act, we’re most confident when we’re ready for the challenge at hand. So don’t get caught off guard. Instead, do your homework and show up armed with facts, insights, anecdotes, and questions. And if you need to add some oomph to your voice and pitch your ideas with more conviction, go for speech and presentation skills training. It’s all doable. And it doesn’t have to take forever.
