About Face for Introverts?

A new study finds that “the brains of extroverts pay more attention to human faces than do introverts,” according to LiveScience. “In fact, introverts’ brains didn’t seem to distinguish between inanimate objects and human faces.” The study, which was presented at the 118th Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association, showed that introverts had a similar response to human faces and flowers, while extroverts paid more attention to faces. I don’t know what to make of this, but am interested to learn more (meanwhile, smelling the roses!).
